“Robert Emert was engaged to design a sunroom replacement for my house which was built in 1940. He was constrained by using the same footprint, coordinating the design with a lake style stone facade and replacement of the copper roof. There were engineering issues in attaching the new sunroom to the existing structure that would also be aesthetically pleasing from the outside and bright and airy from the inside. I am pleased to report that the finished project exceeded our expectations. Working with my wife and myself, as well as my contractor early in the design stage, allowed us to consider design options that we had not even considered at the start of the project. I was a pleasure working with Robert Emert.”

“It was a pleasure working with Robert Emert as our architect in renovating our first floor, which included a kitchen, family room, dining room, formal living room, powder room and foyer. Robert took the time to hear my vision and ideas for a complete new open layout of our first floor and gave me many fantastic ideas how to make it work structurally in the best efficient way. Without a doubt Robert’s experience as an architect was an invaluable input and helped me tremendously in making my project not only beautiful, but extremely functional. Robert was very diligent in getting the drafts and the final plans on a timely basis and would always return my calls and emails immediately. Cannot say enough of how awesome and detailed were Robert Emert's initial drafts and plans of my project. Robert took the time to detail everything, from ideas for the lighting, to a very detailed kitchen layout (that included every detail that a functioning kitchen needs), ideas for floor/moldings, and many more details. Robert provided also 3D drawings of my project which made it very easy to visualize how the final project would look like, These 3D drawings were crucial for me in making all the decisions about my project. Robert did everything to make what I felt was a challenging and stressful process as efficient and easy as it could be. Robert’s architect plan was so detailed and clear that enabled me to get accurate cost estimates for the kitchen and for the contractor. The detailed plan was also the reason for my construction phase to have flow nicely and with no surprises. Robert was always checking on the progress of my project and was very accessible to support the contractor with any questions he would have. In summary, I would highly recommend Robert Emert as an architect for any renovation.”
